Together Michael Cross and his son Josh have embarked on a new avenue in the industry which involves the Kiln drying of a variety of Australian Hardwoods.Modern techniques and good old family values are the core of our business, we aim to deliver the customer service you expect from a family run enterprise, alongside the latest technological developments.Our Solar powered kilns are completely Australian made and operated with a large focus on their environmental impact. All of our custom timber orders, are cut to size at Cross and Mcleod sawmill the old fashioned way, to eliminate waste with no part of the log being unused.Sunbaked Hardwood then transfer and dry your order in our solar kilns. The product is then finished and packed to your specification and is ready to be collected, or we can even arrange a door to door delivery on your behalf.
