The primary goals of an Occupational Therapist when working with children is to improve their functional performance across all environments and enhance their capacity to interact within their physical and social environments. The Occupational Therapists at the clinic provide intervention for children with the following: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Attention disorders such as ADD/ADHD, Neurological impairments including cerebral palsy, Learning delay, Behavioural challenges, Fine and gross motor challenges, Developmental Dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay, Sensory Processing DisorderPhysiotherapists main goal is to improve and maintain children's optimal function whether it be recovering from a sporting injury or improving gross motor function for clients with physical impairments or gross motor delays. The Physiotherapists at the clinic can provide therapy for: Physical developmental and gross motor issues: including children and teenagers with Cerebral Palsy, Brain injury, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Musculoskeletal disorders for example, Scoliosis, Scheuermanns, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, Severs Disease, Sinding Larsing, Os Good Schlatters, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Pre and post orthopaedic surgery: for example, anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
