About Bright Futures Children's Services

The Service is managed by a Coordination Unit staffed by a team of child care professionals who support Educators in the provision of quality child care.

The Service also supports two other programs; In-Home Child Care and “My Time”, an Aboriginal playgroup facilitated by our staff for local Aboriginal families to access. In-Home Child Care may be available to families who successfully meet specific criteria.

All Educators have met our selection criteria and are registered with Bright Futures to operate a Family Day Care business in accordance with all regulations and legal requirements, including a “Working With Children Check”.

Bright Futures Family Day Care has met all of the requirements of the National Childcare Quality Assurance and holds “High Quality” ratings across all areas including the quality of the care provided by individual Educators. The City of Kwinana operates the service and as a part of this vibrant Local Government the Bright Futures Service is also included in the City's assessment against the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standards, ensuring that the management and administration systems are sound and sustainable.
